Distortion or Desperation ?

When checking my mail I came across a couple of political advertisement sent to me . I read it and immediately said " this is not true" and ripped it and threw it away . We all know how I feel about transparency and truth. I got it back out , got the tape , taped it back and I am writing this now . I actually had another connect the dots planned but this needs air .  Lets start with the first think that jumps out at me ! The campaign flyer claims John Diak “supported Pride Fest in Parker” and “voted to change public indecency laws to allow women to walk topless on the streets of Parker.” Here are the facts: In August 2022, a drag performer’s silicone breastplate was briefly exposed during an aerial routine at Douglas County PrideFest on the Douglas County Fairgrounds. That incident was at the county level and led to changes in fairgrounds policy the following year. Separately, in September 2022, the Parker Town Council voted to update its own public indecency ordinance to ...

A commitment to transparency and truth !

Why I Started This Blog: A Commitment to Truth and Transparency I want to be perfectly clear about why I started this blog: it’s about truth. Truth is the foundation of everything. It reveals a person’s integrity and tells you whether you can trust them—or whether you even want to engage with them. That’s why this blog has nothing to do with politics in the partisan sense until it does ! At the end of the day, people are either trustworthy or they lie. Sometimes those lies are meant to spare feelings. Other times, they’re for personal gain, appearances, money, or no reason at all. This blog is my stand for truth and transparency. I deeply believe in both, and I have zero tolerance for people who lie for personal advantage. When you bring politics and power into the mix, the stakes get much higher. Public officials are supposed to remain neutral and act in the best interest of the people they represent. When those with power choose deception instead, it becomes dangerous. That’s exactly...

THIS ISN'T " MISINFORMED" Opposition. It's facts they are ignoring!!!! Why????

Hey everyone—especially if you're new to this: Douglas County wants to build the Zebulon Regional Sports Complex right on the old Chemours (former DuPont) site in Louviers. Officials like George Teal say it's "cleared—no environmental hazards," safe for kids to play soccer there. Laydon's response to a channel 7 article . Here is his email response to me directly ( I am shocked I even got a response because I have not in the past ) But the real docs tell a different story. Let me break it down simple, so you can see why there are serious concerns .  2022 CDPHE Letter – They "closed" the site... but conditionally. That means leftover chemicals (nitrates, perchlorate, old explosives junk) are still in the groundwater and soil—low levels now, but not gone. They added a NEUR (like a permanent rule on the deed): No digging without permission, keep fences up, monitor wells. It's not "clean"—it's "safe enough if we watch it forever."...

Well what is the truth ????

OK So which is it? Serious contradictions from Douglas County Assistant County Attorney , Christopher Pratt, slides from Special meeting on 3/31/2026 and contract for land trade ! The county's pushing hard on the Zebulon Regional Sports Complex—46.5 acres from the old DuPont/Chemours site—claiming it's good to go after a 2022 CDPHE conditional closure letter. But that letter ties safety to an active Notice of Environmental Use Restrictions (NEUR), banning digging or disturbance in capped zones, with no "unrestricted use" stamp. Then there's the 2023 site investigation Douglas County authorized: per CBS Colorado's October 15, 2025 article ( https://www.cbsnews.com/colorado/news/colorado-county-agrees-to-land-transfer-mega-sports-complex ), it found soil contamination including PFAS, lead, and asbestos-containing materials on the overlapping "Option 1" parcel for the transfer. Commissioner Abe Laydon downplayed it as just a "small section" PF...
