Distortion or Desperation ?

When checking my mail I came across a couple of political advertisement sent to me . I read it and immediately said " this is not true" and ripped it and threw it away . We all know how I feel about transparency and truth. I got it back out , got the tape , taped it back and I am writing this now . I actually had another connect the dots planned but this needs air .

Lets start with the first think that jumps out at me !The campaign flyer claims John Diak “supported Pride Fest in Parker” and “voted to change public indecency laws to allow women to walk topless on the streets of Parker.”

Here are the facts:

In August 2022, a drag performer’s silicone breastplate was briefly exposed during an aerial routine at Douglas County PrideFest on the Douglas County Fairgrounds. That incident was at the county level and led to changes in fairgrounds policy the following year.

Separately, in September 2022, the Parker Town Council voted to update its own public indecency ordinance to make the language gender-neutral. That change was triggered by a Rocky Horror Picture Show screening at the Parker Arts Center, not PrideFest.

The flyer mixes these two completely separate 2022 incidents from two different jurisdictions, then exaggerates the Parker vote by claiming it allows women to walk topless on public streets — which it does not.

This is not accurate, It’s distortion.

Next , Jake Bockenfeld claims he will Protect what makes our community special which is Traditional family values, Safe environments for our children and responsible growth that preserves our small town character.

Where do you even start with this claim?

Let’s look at the record:
Traditional Family Values

Traditional family values apparently include jake and his wife , Kaylan Bockenfeld, speaking in support of Zebulon thirty days before he announced his run for county commissioner. The October 14th speaker sign-up sheet shows the same handwriting on multiple names — including Kaylan’s and Jake’s. As executive assistant to Ellie Reynolds at the Douglas County Economic Development Council, she introduced herself only as “a Parker mom” and never disclosed her employer or her husband’s political plans. That sign up sheet has been reported by witnesses that 2 people filled it up.

Safe Environments for Our Children?

Jake Bockenfeld claims he will protect “safe environments for our children.”

Yet both he and his wife actively supported the Zebulon Regional Sports Complex — built on the old DuPont/Chemours explosives plant in Louviers. Douglas County swapped for this land, and now taxpayers are stuck with the bill.

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment issued only a conditional closure — not a clean bill of health. Groundwater is still contaminated. The property carries active environmental use restrictions, and crews are currently scraping the soil for unexploded blasting caps. Two unlabeled barrels were recently found on site with no monitoring or oversight.

Commissioners Abe Layden and George Teal keep insisting the land is “clean” and anyone who disagrees is “misinformed.” Clean land doesn’t require ongoing remediation or have conditional closures.

Chemicals documented on the site include arsenic, lead, antimony, 2,4-DNT, 2,6-DNT, and PETN. Local wells remain contaminated to this day.

This project appears to benefit his wife’s employer and the Sterling Ranch developer far more than it protects local children. Even County Assistant Attorney Christopher Pratt acknowledges the problems with this parcel of land !

Responsible Growth That Preserves Our Small-Town Character?

Jake Bockenfeld claims he supports “responsible growth that preserves our small-town character.”
Yet he backed the $100 million Zebulon sports complex — approved with no public vote, saddling taxpayers with massive debt. Colorado Parks and Wildlife warned the project would destroy wildlife habitat, block migration corridors, and disrupt animals raising their young.
Beyond that, the plan completely ignores the lack of road infrastructure to handle thousands of extra cars, and nobody has explained where all the water for this massive facility is supposed to come from.
This isn’t responsible growth. It’s a huge development that destroys habitat, strains roads and water resources, and erases the small-town character of Roxborough — all while calling it “preservation" . Calling this “responsible growth” while pushing a project that burdens taxpayers, damages wildlife, and erases the very character he claims to protect is the height of hypocrisy.

Yet here’s the real picture: Republican Commissioner George Teal sitting front and center, smiling big with John Hickenlooper, his wife, and Larry Mizel — owner of MCD Holdings and a major Republican donor and Jewish philanthropist. One guy is barely in a photo with Polis. The other is literally posing with Hickenlooper.

Call it what it is — pure hypocrisy.

I think I have proved a point here . This is not what appears to be happening at all ! Does Jake really stand for these things or is he just trying to discredit John Diak by lying? He appears to be helping to deceive the public and no public admission of conflict that I have heard of about his wife's employer ! He is one just like the others . He is showing us who He is .......We should believe him !
